In September 2018, I was a media manager and social entrepreneur, leading a team of 50 people in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In September 2019, I am a startupper and human rights activist. My current team consists of two people (me included), and we are working on a Saas– solution aiming to fight discrimination worldwide.
One may think of downshifting — no me. The tremendous change was a bold and inevitable response to my immense desire to deliver impactful social change.
Here I need to stress that IE has something to do with the driving force of the mine. Although my education portfolio consists of three masters (including EMBA), three short-term business courses taken in the USA, and one in Sweden, IE Executive Summer School experience was a kind of a tipping point in my new venture’s story. Sitting in a classroom in Madrid downtown in July 2016, together with 20 C-Suits forms 13 countries, I saw clearly how competitive my ideas, creativity, boldness, and speed were. That was an unforgettable moment of understanding that time had come to move higher, grow outside my country, and event my region.
As far as I am extra-quick, firstly I tried to do to follow the destination within my previous media business called Ekonomika+ (delo.ua, mmr.ua,womo.ua,etc.) But I failed. Wasting no time for depression, I made up my mind to sell the business and devote myself to a project able to cover at least three billion people(the Earth population is 7 billion).
Believe it or not, one month before my exit from Ekonomika+, the idea I was looking for emerged. I found it in my oldest daughter’s essay. “I want to use the universal language of music to make intolerance irrelevant” – wrote the teenager in the composition.
I started thinking of ways I can help her with such a marvelous objective. That was the moment Biasless was born. In early December 2018. Here is a video pitch, explaining what changes the project aims to embrace –
Bialess is a writing assistant for bias eradication. An advisor, able to reduce reputation and economic risks for corporations and citizens.
Every time someone will decide to write that he lost a meeting because of a stupid blondie who drove like nuts, Bialess will underline the passage and explain that there is no correlation between the color of hair or sex and driving skills. It will provide relevant statistics in evidence.
Biasless aims to eliminate hate speech spread on social media, in traditional media, and business communications. And the project is enormous in its scope because it covers the gender equality aspect, rights of LGBTQ people, race, nationality, age prejudices.
We will start from hate speech detection and eradication and move to unconscious bias later on.
And we plan to use not only the power of AI but the peer-to-peer approach to decrease the level of biases in the world.
Oh yeah, it’s so challenging and attractive to produce a solution favorable for the majority of the Earth population. But to tell the truth, the creation of such a product is just a matter of time.

To conclditional buude, I must admit that it is not easy to switch from a trasiness model where you are like a fish in the water to a venture world. Lots to be started from scratch. But the new start, its magnitude alongside with anticipation of something immense triggers and energies more than my fears.
