February marked the start of the IE Women Leadership Mentor Program, edition 2018. Organized by the IE Center of Diversity and the IE Women in Business Club, in exclusive collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce of Madrid (Amcham).
This is one of the multiple opportunities that female students have at IE to work towards the achievement of their professional goals. The participants selected for the IE Women Leadership Mentor Program will receive guided support from top executives in many industries, to identify their areas of improvement and evaluate their career objectives.
The competition level in the application process this year has been unprecedented. Only top students have been selected, representing all the different schools at IE. Their professional and cultural backgrounds mirror the university’s drive for diversity, making the program a truly global opportunity for women to network and get precious insights for their future careers.
Following the kick-off meeting, mentees have been matched with mentors and encouraged to meet one-to-one to fully benefit of the opportunities that this exclusive program offers.
We hope that both mentees and mentors will learn something new from their respective counterpart, and we are certain that the meetings will be constructive, given the expertise and competence of both IE’s students and top executive mentors.
We look forward to the program’s mid-way meeting that is scheduled for end of April and wish all the best and fruitful meetings to all participants.
